Doesn't work terribly

I charged my wand to full and tried to use it a few times and it will run slow but at least it will work then it will shut down completely, recharge and die Traffic light turns green and then the same. ! I have used one before that my sister in law has that I clean her house for and it works amazing, I can do her 2 bathrooms top to bottom for 1 charge so I know they work. I just think I have a lemon!
