*After my first 1-star rating, the company contacted me and sent me a replacement fan with an additional battery and cable free of charge. It's worked great so far so I'm now updating my rating to 4 stars instead of 1. The company even sent a handwritten note with the replacement apologizing for the issues with the first one. Great customer service so far! The kit includes a long and a short USB cable. The longer one doesn't fit properly in the fan, so the battery doesn't get enough charge. You have to spin the fan to get an angle, or hold it at an angle, at which point it does power the fan but of course doesn't stall when you let go of it. The short USB cable doesn't work at all - you plug it in and there's nothing, there's no power. The battery powers the fan (for a short time since USB cables can't charge it) when it's turned so that the label on the battery is facing up. I bought this fan to put on my child's crib to keep it a little cooler this summer and buying this fan turned out to be a waste of money. Not worth the $22 I paid.
