I think it's ok as a device to upgrade the router to AC. It doesn't have a very strong signal and the network port is only 100Mbps anyway. My problem is that the client mode didn't work for me. Scanning didn't find any networks. Support was at a dead end so I returned it. Mine may have been broken, but I know the WiFi is working because I was able to connect in hotspot mode. Either way, this thing looks like shit. Disappointing product from Trendnet. *Edit* I think I figured it out. My network broadcasts 5GHz on channel 149 and older AC Wi-Fi radios cannot see higher channels. Get with the program TrendNet. I don't know if that was the problem here, but I suspect it was.
