I have the XL and it's big enough for my ball python. It looks great, I've had it since 2011. My problem was that it was too heavy. I didn't change the water every day because it was painful to lift it out of the cage, rinse it out and put it back in. Difficult! I know it looks silly but to me if it's not easy I won't do it. I bought the XL sized Zoo Med Corner model and while it's not as pretty, it's a lot lighter and easier to change the water every day. My ball I think could knock him over, but I seriously doubt he could knock him over (it's 4ft long). Anyway, my daughter now uses it as an outdoor worm holder. He's been out as her dirty treasure keeper for over 2 years. Hasn't lost any of the colour, maybe lightened a bit inside but she throws it away, puts dirt and stones in it, cleans it with hand sanitizer and soapy water... just loved it. Holds up VERY well. It's just hard for me.
