Camera turns on when not in use! This camera is not protected in any way. Since I've had it, I've seen the camera's green light flash countless times, even when I wasn't actively using video software. I can be in a Word doc and it will turn on, or often I'll exit a room and when I enter I see a light. After saying out loud that the camera is on, or after moving the mouse to do something else on my computer, the light goes out. I wouldn't recommend it as it seems to be a serious privacy issue.
