I bought these for training, they are very light and comfortable. I haven't used them in the gym yet though so we'll see how they hold up during workouts but for now I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm a size 8 which is my usual size and then great. Just a note, if you want to add panels, go up a half size. I tried them with inserts and they got too tight so I had to take them out. If I went up the size I could add inserts to them but I find them comfortable without them so I'll leave them as is.
