This spaghetti measuring tool is beautiful, durable and easy to keep clean. However, there only seems to be an estimate of the amount of spaghetti you use. The tool has a number mark from 1 to 4 and the tool says "mass" so I'm guessing each hole weighs 1-4 kilos but I'm not sure. So if I want 1/2 pound spaghetti, I'm out of luck. So, the box I take spaghetti from weighs 1 pound. If I approach 1/2 of this box, that's more than the "4" holes in the tool. And how about 1/4 pound? I think those of us who use imperial (western) measurements would benefit if the holes better suited our system.
