In my application everything seems to be working.

Nice to have NPN and PNP in one purchase. 3904 and 3906 are proven transistors. So far I've used about a dozen of these PNPs and about 1/2 dozen of these NPNs and they all seem to work. I use them in a 24 volt digital control circuit for my lathe. Therefore I did not test their linear behavior. Haven't seen any problems with them.
