Review on ๐Ÿ”ช CANARY Small Paper Craft Art Detail Scissors: Perfect for Crafting, Collage, and Paper Cutting Art by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Update: 2nd pair does not make a clean cut

I make little pieces out of paper. Martha Stewart Detailing Scissors have long been my favorite pair of scissors. They were out of stock for a long time and I've been looking for quality scissors ever since. After some research I decided to give them a try. The reviews were a little cheap. I like narrow blades. If the blades are too thick, the scissors will not be able to cut small areas. The leaves of the canary are short and thin. They are not designed for cutting large areas. I had issues with blade placement on some of my lines, and got a little off on some cuts. Maybe because I'm left-handed? I do not know. The cuts are clean cut with no breaks or nicks. The downside, which is very important to me, is the holes for the fingers. I'm a petite person with small hands. My thumb gets stuck in the finger holes. If the holes were a little bigger, the craft scissors would definitely get 5 stars. However, I lost my first pair within a month of ordering them. That's a pair of scissors! I ordered another pair despite the disappointment in my fingers. I also ordered an OLFA parts cutter for comparison. See separate review.
