I bought 3 of these personalized for my two daughters ages 8 and 10 abd one for myself after my husband passed (their dad) my 8 year old was so excited bc now she could bring daddy with her everywhere she needed . She has major anxiety especially at school bc of bullying she went through. So she truly believe with this necklace daddy would protect her from all the bullies and scary things. First of all i knew it wouldn't take much ash to put in it but it was way less than I thought would get in there. It was hard to get the ashes to go through the little funnel they send with it and only a finger tip on my 8 year Olds fingers fit in it :*( but still ok she still loved it . Well the first Nighy she woke up abd the whole heart had fallen off the necklace with the exception of the top piece thay screwed into where u put the ashes . It was completely gone. I figured bc she holds it and kind of plays with it when nervous that maybe in her sleep it got twisted by her but we couldn't find the heart anywhere near her sleeping area. My next fear was the dog got a hold of it . Which he must of bc.we ended up finding it by luck in the doorframe leading to our pool area and where we let the dogs out . Obviously the ashes seemed to be not on there which was horrible ad it was but we added more and I kept her necklace in a special place and told her she is not to sleep with it on or go anywhere with it on unless I told her it was OK. Well a couple weeks later she was wearing it and at some point the charm with her and her daddy's pic fell out of the charm the charm was there nut pic just was gone:( she was in such tears bc that was so.specoal to her so I now have one necklace without the pic now in my room put away that she can't wear . I also took my 10 year Olds and put it away and mine as well now I made a little tribute in my room with the necklaces and pics etc of him for us. So disappointing
