Wow what a great lip kit! This is actually my first real "lip kit" so I guess I can't really compare it to others but gosh I picked a great one to start with! I have The Reds which are a little different from my usual colors but I wanted to experiment with a sexy red lip look. This set contains three products: a lip liner, a matte liquid lipstick and a glossy lip gloss. I love the versatility of this set. You can use the products individually or together or in a combination between them. I usually prefer a matte look, so I often wear lipstick alone and sometimes with liner. The colors in this set (eyeliner and matte lipstick) are highly pigmented and give off a lot of color. You need to have a steady hand because there's not much room for error, at least not with this color set. Especially the lining stays in place forever! It's actually almost annoying how long it takes. I have to use some strong makeup remover and some swear words to finally get it off. My normal makeup remover wipes and washcloths didn't fit. I wasn't expecting to like the shine, but I liked it. It really lifts the eye from the rich matte red "look at me!" shine. It's not my usual style, but then again. Great for experimentation, and who knows? Maybe this lip kit will give me the confidence to MAKE it my style! I would like to try other color combinations. In the meantime I'm enjoying The Reds and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a really long lasting lip color!
