After 3 months it got very loud. The second died after 1.5 months.

Installation wasn't very easy, but it's a design feature of the laptop (small connector). Fits as expected. The noise started after a few months, and now it's like the original fan a week before it finally failed. In view of the many good reviews, I hope that my case is an exception and will buy it again. It's important to know that it fits. Update: I contacted Revain and the rep issued a refund. I bought and installed a second fan of the same type and after 1.5 months it went from quiet to unbearably loud overnight.
