Worked great for my second kombucha fermentation process. They are made from thick glass with minimal imperfections to withstand the CO2 pressure and they have a perfectly fitting and working lid for an airtight seal making for a very bubbly kombucha. *In the past* I have bought cheaper bottles from other suppliers with loose or deformed caps. This is definitely not the case here. They are also easy to clean. When a piece of ginger got stuck there, I used a bamboo skewer so that it didn't scratch the glass, but pulled it out of the bottle. Functional and attractive. Worth the price.
