We use this to transport our cockatiel. He likes riding in it, and it helps when we need to take him in the car. There are a few small issues- when it arrived, we had to let of off-gas for a few days with a cup of baking soda sitting inside, since the new plastic/nylon fumes were very stinky. The protective film on the clear compartment was punched into the ring openings, so when it was removed, the rings had ripped plastic film embedded around them, which isn’t really a problem, but is cosmetically messy-looking. The bottom pad that lines the "floor” tends to pop up and angle itself inside the backpack, since it’s not attached to anything, but weighing it down with a full size cat should press it into place. For our bird, we added Velcro to the bottom of the pad to stick it to the bottom of the backpack.Overall, a pretty useful and fun item, just takes a few tasks to fix the flaws.
