When I first got into the world of Stratux, I saw all kinds of DIY project boxes, I loved the idea of ADS-B In for under $150, and finding the right one Enclosure was important as I don't want to be at the airport with that Arduino guy. This Summitlink case did it. I was expecting a 3D printed plastic box, but instead I got a very nice, professional, durable plastic case. First, I accidentally installed the Pi at an angle and then closed the case tightly on one side. Well the plastic clips rested on the Raspberry Pi so removing the cover was very difficult. I'm thankful it's not cheap plastic, otherwise I'd break a clip or two when carefully re-opening it. This case can take a beating, so it's roadworthy. I like the extra vents and the holes designed for other gear like the GPS cable. It's well thought out. Final thoughts, I wanted to add AHRS and the device I wanted to add was "Stratux AHRS Sensors and Fan Controller" but I asked around and it doesn't seem to fit with the plastic cover, antenna cable and fan closed. are on the way. Maybe a future version will increase the altitude clearance for this small AHRS sensor. Beautiful box, definitely attracts attention. Highly recommended!
