Great for extending Wi-Fi range without halving the speed. Using a Linksys router that supports maximum traffic allows you to expand your network without creating another SSID. I've used other brands before, but they didn't support the maximum data flow, so the speed was half that of when connected to the main WiFi router. I see a lot of people complaining about adding additional SSIDs, but this is easily resolved by going to the extender's web browser settings and connecting to extended WiFi. It will be created first and then open extender.linksys.com. Then simply change the admin password for extra security and then go to your WiFi settings and check the 'Use existing network settings' box. You can also check the best placement position using the tool available on the extender's browser settings page.
