Very easy to assemble. 2 of them fit well. Sturdy enough for a shoe, but I wouldn't put more weight on it. If you plan to stack them inside each other, please note that you can only stack two. You need two sets of plastic brackets to stack two of these, and each rack includes a set of stacking brackets. If you buy two you will have the right amount of stacking clips to stack exactly 2 racks. If you want to fold the 3rd rack, you only have 1 set of stacking brackets that come with the 3rd rack, but you need 2 sets to stack the 3rd rack. It seems strong enough to stack 3, but you don't have enough clips to stack it. I would like the manufacturer to provide 2 sets of stacking clips with each rack to allow for this.
