Review on πŸ”„ GURUDAR CO2 Cartridges Adapter: Convert CGA320 CO2 Tank to SodaStream Soda Maker with High Pressure Hose by Michael Clarke

I broke two valves in one place

Bought to connect to my SodaStream Fizzi. The first worked fine for about a month, then all of a sudden the CO2 stopped coming out of the nozzle. I closed the CO2 bottle, depressurized it and checked all connections. Everything seems fine, so I open the tank again. As soon as I did that, CO2 started pouring out of the jet and I didn't even press the button anymore. After inspecting everything, I found that the problem was with the valve that screws into the back of the SodaStream unit. For some reason it didn't close all the way. I requested a replacement and it arrived three days ago. Everything was working fine until this morning when suddenly the same thing happened again. The CO2 would not stop coming out of the nozzle and upon inspection I found the problem was in the same place. I decided to open them up to see what could be wrong as I was no longer eligible for a refund anyway. I got the same error on both. The problem is with the valve itself. There is a clear rubber ring around the core which when in contact with the black rubber around the hole in the top of the valve body creates a seal. This clear rubber ring had partially popped out of the groove it was supposed to sit in, making it impossible to close the valve. I found the same defect on another valve core. I'm no expert on this, but I'm pretty sure a valve that won't close is a pretty dangerous problem.
