Blunt or misaligned. Will not cut through a layer of regular cotton fabric.
These embroidery scissors either feel dull or misaligned. They don't even cut through a layer of ordinary cotton fabric. With them, you cannot cut applications at all. I bought these to replace my old dull 4 year old applique scissors but the old ones work better than these. Dissatisfied!
