Big wallet as one of those "You can't eat your cake and eat it” situations. If it's too thin it won't fit much and the card slots are very narrow (I hate that). If it's too big, it can be bulky and a little unwieldy. So, to be honest, yes, this wallet is big. It's a bit awkward. BUT! As for the large wallet, this one isn't bad, especially since it has an RFID blocker. It's not very bulky, although it's longer than I thought it would be. The only downside I have is that the midsection isn't as stiff as I'd like. If you take it and spread it out in front of you, the middle piece "sags” a bit. It's not a big deal, but I think it could make it a little bit smaller. shaky? I can't describe it any other way. All in all I love the purse. Can't say I'm a fan of matte finishes as I love my wallets to have a little texture. But that's not really a problem, it's just a preference.
