Great product, I'm glad I was able to find it.
This will suit my needs well. I bought this to charge a battery, it takes 14-40 volts DC to fully charge. This item is well designed with aluminum heatsink. easy to connect, just make sure you plug the input where it is shown, which is clearly marked on the bottom of the unit. I also strongly recommend putting a built-in fuse on both the input and output. Also, it's die-cast aluminum, so don't over-tighten the mounting screws used or you might crack the heatsink.
