Since this is the first review of this product, I will try to be as detailed as possible. The HDD is actually very quiet! I didn't even expect this. But in order not to hear it at all, I placed it in the DEEPCOOL Icedisk 100 box. Please note that if you use such boxes, the hard drive must be firmly pressed and fixed with rubber or other elastic material to the top and one of the sides of the box, while In this case, the cooling device itself must be connected to the case with a rubber or other material that dampens vibrations, for example, stand at the bottom of the case on soft rubber legs, which will ensure both silence and good heat dissipation. Now the HDD is not audible even in the sound test on a random search (mode in the Victoria mega-program), my monitor is much louder than the computer, although it is also barely audible. The system and all programs, of course, on an SSD, this hard drive was needed to store photos, videos, movies, music, installations, so access speed is not so critical, noise and reliability are much more important. Although reliability is such a thing, if you're not lucky, both WD and Seagate will fall in, and if you're lucky, both will work for many years. But, I hope, it will be reliable, and a 2-year warranty was given for such a cheap disk in vain. Especially considering that this HDD will not be used in server mode or in a video surveillance system. So who needs a cheap and quiet drive without pretensions to super-speed - I recommend it.
