Charger kit purchased in September 2017 for 2003 f350 6L. truck doesn't run. Standard turbo but aftermarket intercooler and exhaust to reduce under hood heat. The truck didn't even get 20,000 miles with the kit, and the dust boot flew off the turbine. The photo shows that the silicone in the clamping part has disappeared and the thread is visible. It takes silicone to attach to the turbo and intercooler hose, otherwise it will just drain. Obviously inferior silicone material was used in the manufacture of these boots. I had to flip the boot and clamped it onto the pipe twice. It was only another 72 miles before the dual clamp snapped and melted the blue anodizing on the tube it was attached to. Boost never exceeded 29psi, which is standard, and exhaust temps only peaked at 1249. When the truck was original it would hit 1350 from time to time, but as I built it for reliability, 1249 is the highest that I've ever seen. I'm always cool with my truck and yet this product failed miserably. Spend your money elsewhere because the trunk case lasted 13 years and I didn't survive 4 full years with the ominous case. They tried to sell me a new shoe but they will never get my money back! The kit looks good but is unreliable. A real treat to sit on a Pennsylvania hilltop road with no room to get off the road to fix it! Big thanks to sinister Diesel for building the junk and not behind it!
