Excellent surge protector with one annoying design flaw

I bought this product because it offers superior surge protection compared to most products of the same size and price. Unfortunately the sockets are too close together to accommodate 3 plugs unless you use simple/small ones. This is not suitable for two or three three pin American plugs used side by side as the apparent design flaw does not allow for more space between the sockets. However, you can plug a thin 2-pin connector or two next to a 3-pin connector, which is how the product is currently used.
