This ink is one of the best I have ever used for drawing with pens or fountain pens. The black is very black and flows beautifully with excellent coverage. Compared to Pioneer's pen ink and Pen & Ink's proprietary drawing ink, it stands out like a giant superman among ants. This is professional quality ink that makes the other two I mentioned seem less amateur than childish. If you are looking for drawing ink for black and white work, grab this one and you will be happy. You can even regain your confidence in traditional pen and ink, like I did. For far too many years, Americans have been exposed to very poor quality ink from office supply stores. Now with Amazon and high-quality inks available in cultures that still appreciate the art of craft, I can enjoy rich black pen and ink without having to use a computer to complete my work.
