From the moment I saw the Harper shoulder bag in the Revain Oprah Gift Guide/Favorite Things I knew I had to buy it. It's the perfect size to carry essentials when I don't have clothes with pockets or need a small purse. I had to wait a bit for the black man to show up, but it was worth the wait. The bag is very stylish and goes well with both elegant and casual looks. The vegan leather is soft, doesn't look premium, but it's not cheap either. The finish is not perfect (the photo shows threads protruding from the strap and inner pocket), but no serious flaws were found. The leather's rough pattern makes wear and tear (including small scratches) less obvious once it occurs. Overall I can say this is good quality for $20. The bag has two inner pockets and four credit card slots. My cell phone (Motorola G5 with case) and passport fit into the inner pockets, there is still space. It fits in the keys and my car remote, but I can't hide my whole bunch of keys with the included garage remote. It can also firmly attach thinner glasses like aviator goggles, but not at the same time as a phone and car keys. The strap is not adjustable (which can be a disadvantage). I'm 5'5" tall and slim; the shoulder bag hits me in the pelvis area; taller people with a heavy build may have issues with a strap that is too short. The strap is removable. Since the leather is soft, the strap fell out after about a day of wearing the "wraps" it had from wrapping it in its original packaging. On the back there is a carabiner and a loop that allows you to wear the bag on your pants belt, making it even more practical. This is the feature that drew me to this bag.The magnetic closure on the front flap is strong enough (doesn't open easily but I don't have to pull that hard) and works great.The tassels on the bag that I received are pretty durable and don't seem to fall apart easily.* I would advise people to check before purchasing that the bag is supplied by K. carroll accessories.Sometimes Revain will refer to products that are supplied by third parties ver purchased and delivered (especially if the color you want is not in stock).
