Great for plugging in but not charging!

I just recently bought a new Macbook, but I have a different normal USB than my previous PC. This adapter helped me a lot during the transition. It works great for connecting and transferring data, but NOT for charging. If you want to charge your phone through this adapter, it won't work for you
