I'm not a very careful parent. When my 18 month old daughter first rolled over the handlebars and put her face on this thing, I was glad she was wearing a helmet and thought she was learning how to ride a bike safely. At 20 months she was getting very fast on her bike and the headlines were too scary, even with a helmet on. Great idea, but the tiny wheels make it unstable and too easy to tip forward, especially on tarmac. My kid liked it by the way, but broken teeth and broken noses aren't worth it.
