Quality - yes. But it holds my 12kg cat very well so I can't complain! I covered him with a blanket to make him more comfortable because he wouldn't get up from the back of the sofa. It was easy to assemble but the tubes were different colors which was confusing. I can replace them myself too, but I wish the wire clips weren't light purple so they don't stick out like a sore thumb. I also wish the plastic tubes were black to match the grille, but I knew that before I ordered. Just a rating for the manufacturer. UPDATE: FIRE HAZARD! DO NOT put on furniture! I placed this over my (brand new) couch as shown in the picture and now my couch has BURNE SURFACES on it! I can't think of any other way to get burns on my couch than from sunlight shining through the suction cups and magnifying. I absolutely do not keep candles or combustible materials on or near the couch. It's absolutely awful! BUYER ATTENTION! I really hope that the seller is willing to return the money if not more! I'm very upset and can't do anything about this unsightly burn on my new couch.
