I bought five sets of these lights for my Christmas tree and one didn't work. Of course, since they were new, I didn't test them before hanging them on the tree. A bit disappointed because they weren't cheap! UPDATE: NEVER BUY THIS FOR YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE! Each set comes with a remote control and they do NOT connect to each other! Every night when I get home to light my tree, I have to fiddle with every cord to turn the light on. When you press the power button on the remote, some turn on, some change color, some don't turn on. Then you have to try ALL the switches on each plug and look up to see what the string of lights is. I spent a fortune on them and I'm just SICK what a fiasco it is to just light a Christmas tree. Never, never again!
