Review on Simple Kind to Skin Face Moisturizer - Replenishing Rich 12-Hour Moisturization for Sensitive Skin (4.2 oz) All Skin Types by Lauren Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A big thank you from a man with very sensitive skin and severe chemical sensitivities. . .

**Update 04/26/21** Sometime in 2020 the formula of this lotion changed. Many of the ingredients are the same, but not much. I'm not sure if it's the best, but I still use it and it still seems to work for me. However, what I did notice when changing the ingredients is that the lotion feels a bit oilier than the previous version (but doesn't leave my skin shiny) and the smell is a bit more "fruity" compared to the crayon scent I listed in my old review have. I've attached a few ingredient photos of each for you to see and compare. The old bottle has green letters on a white background, while the new one is white with a green back. Aside from the change in smell and slight change in texture, this product still comes with my old review, which you can read below: I've been looking for a face lotion that's free of harsh chemicals or animal-based ingredients for years. . Of the many lotions I've tried over the years (organic and similar), they were either too oily (shiny skin), or too smelly, or clogged my discharge, or somehow caused an adverse reaction. But now I found it. . .and how grateful I am for that. Apart from a change in smell and a slight change in texture, this lotion is still lighter in my previous review, but despite this, it moisturizes my very thin and sensitive skin well. It doesn't leave a shine like most other face lotions and doesn't have much odor. The slight smell is reminiscent - at least for me - of a wax crayon smell that was only noticeable for a short time after application. And after my olfactory system got used to it (after about a week), I couldn't even smell it right after applying it. But above all, my body tolerates it very well. With some lotions it can take a week or so for the skin to adjust, small pimples or something like that for a short time, but with me and this lotion there are no such problems at all - no. Now. . I'm not saying it will work for you the way it has for me, and I'm not saying you won't have a reaction to it. Everyone's body and its inner structure are as unique as fingerprints. What suits one may not suit another, despite the similarity. The best we can do is try and see what works. It amazes me that many reviews of this lotion say that because this product didn't work for them, if you have the same skin type or condition as them, it definitely won't work for you. It's just not true. It's all trial and error, which can take a long time. It has cost me countless years of frustration trying to find a lotion that my body can handle and that fits my needs. Like me, based on the conflicting answers people have given in their reviews and in the questions section (some say yes and some say no), here's what their website says on 5/11/18: We're constantly looking for smarter, more recyclable packaging options and more sustainable boxes and Ingredients. Simplicity is gentle on skin and animals. We do not test our products on animals. We believe products that are safe for humans can be developed using cruelty-free approaches.” may lie at times, but I hope this statement is true. After all, lying does no one any good. As the saying goes, "Honesty is the best policy" and I sincerely hope that the same is true of this company. Visit the website for more information: simpleskincare.com. An overall rating of 4.5 stars for such a product is very good, especially considering how different people's bodies are. A five star product for me. Many thanks to Simple for creating such a product.
