I bought this specifically for camping. I wanted to be able to whip cream and egg whites in the forest. I did a test run at home using a couple of Type-C batteries that I kept in the fridge for a couple of years (and to my great surprise, it still works fine). I found very quickly that this blender didn't handle half a liter of heavy cream in a medium-sized bowl very well (felt like I'd be in there for hours until something happened), but it got the job done with a small amount of heavy cream Well . in a small bowl. You can also beat 2 egg whites in a small bowl until stiff. All this made me very happy. I haven't tried it in the container it comes with as I felt the need to move the whisk around to get the job done. The only downside I have so far is that I imagined the whisk to be more durable, like rubber coated wire, when in reality it's just plastic. Of course this blender will never be as powerful as an electric one and I see no need to use one at home (and seems like a waste of batteries) but what a luxury to have one if not!
