I bought this after having some back problems so I can raise my monitor while keeping the keyboard in place. I still think it's a little small, but it's much better than the standard stand. It's important to note that although it says my monitor must be under the maximum weight. They really have to crank the hell out to be tight enough to stay in place. And not with the supplied small key, but with the matching open-end wrench. And since it's just friction holding it in place, any up and down incline adjustment will loosen the screw and cause it to fall off. Even though I know I would buy it again just because it's cheap and serves its purpose. However, be aware that a heavy monitor needs to be installed once and you may need to re-tighten it from time to time.
