Clean threads/Use pipe spatula

I bought this to use as a permanent air reservoir for my RV to inflate the tires. It is firmly attached to the frame. I thought the tank was well done, but I have Follosin's recommendations. 1. Clean all threads on fittings with pipe thread paint to remove paint. Before installation, the tank and threads are painted to prevent rust. 2. Use plumbing putty on all threads before installing a pressure switch or pipe plug.
