Update: no longer works. Lasted about a year. Garbage. The point seems pretty strong. Looks good, almost hidden. However, it is easy to install. The OEM hex head screws in the existing passenger footrest (where the lock attaches) are too short. You may be lucky if the 3 threads of the screw meet the threaded hole. I don't know if this will support someone's body weight when stepping on the footrest to get on the bike. ☹ Ps. Don't look for those special hex bolts in the holy store or home depot, they don't have them.
