This cable saved my hard drive and then stopped working after a year

My new hard drive shut down and I decided to buy a new cable to see if that fixed the problem. Not only does this fix my hard drive unplugging, it also offers much faster speeds than the cable that came with my drive. Update: October 2021 and these cables are no longer working properly. Cannot transfer data at a reasonable speed and often disconnects the drive even while files are being transferred. The new cable solved this problem. While this cable initially solved my problem, it didn't last long.
