I bought this bluetooth transmitter to use with both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. The reason I bought it was because I wanted to use my Samsung Galaxy Buds instead of traditional wired headphones when gaming. I rarely write reviews, but when I went to charge the device for the first time after the first charge, I had a rather pleasant surprise. First, the battery life is around 4-5 days with 2-3 hours of daily gaming sessions, which isn't bad, I charge my 3DS about that often. When the transmitter battery died, I used my switch in the docking station. Since I had the transmitter plugged into the headphone jack on my Switch, that jack had audio priority, so no sound came from the TV. So of course I unplugged the transmitter from my switch and the audio was redirected to my TV. The Switch dock has two USB ports on the left side, so I plugged in the transmitter to charge it, but when I did that, the sound from my TV was muted. I know from other reviews that the Switch dock is compatible with USB audio devices, so I decided to put the Bluetooth headphones back in and turn the transmitter on. Didn't you know that this Bluetooth transceiver works with both headphone jack and USB audio, even though the Revain listing information or the documentation in the box doesn't mention it? So this device has a great advantage, because if the device you're using it with supports USB audio, you can keep using it while the battery is charging. Then, when the battery is fully charged, you can only use it with other devices with a headphone jack. I highly recommend this.
