Disk A Socket vs. Disk B Socket

The instructions that came with this one say there is DRIVE SOCKET A and DRIVE SOCKET B; Difference in screw position. Drive Socket A, the screw hole is opposite the Vitamix logo on the top, Drive Socket B has a screw on the same side as the Vitamix logo. My OEM part was Drive Socket A, the screw was opposite the Vitamix logo, this item is B, the logo and screw hole are on the same side. I plugged it in first and it burned the top of the drive connector, I assumed it was because there were different part numbers between connectors A and B. I was wrong and all I had to do was push really hard while tightening the mounting screw and it slid into place. Food for thought!
