I know this post is long but to understand how my hair was and how it is now with this towel (same goes for my sister!) what I have to explain: Me I have blonde hair that is wavy but each strand is thin which is normal for blonde hair. My 2 brothers and my sister ended up with curly hair but not me. I love her curls and wish I had them, but I've never had them. My hair also had weird waves, which meant I had to constantly blow dry it. I want my hair to be "wet and straight" well, "wet and straight" is fine too, but I've never had it either. I know my hair is frizzy because every time we go to the beach, when I get out of the water and dry my hair, it's so wonderfully curly, naturally loose curls, but I'll remember that. hit. I started using a curl shampoo that made my waves more organized so the waves stayed wavy even though I could never blow dry them or the waves flattened out. Even the wind would straighten my waves. If the waves stayed I would be happy. Then I got this towel and I had such beautiful, loose curls, like on the beach! WOW! I've tried about 5 different curly hair towels that I've purchased here at Revain, but this unconditionally gives me the results I'm looking for. Then my curly hair shampoo ran out and I just used my old shampoo that didn't do anything for my waves. I used this towel and it wasn't the curl shampoo that made my waves beautiful, it was this towel! This towel gives me almost the same effect without processing my hair! If I do nothing, my waves naturally straighten out the next day when I comb my hair (I wash my hair every other day). I don't care though because I can leave my hair damp after towel drying and it does what I love for at least 1 day! Also, my hair was pretty frizzy when I blow dried it, I mean maybe. other people didn't care, but when I compared my hair to others, I found that my hair had frizz issues. I've been using this towel for about a year and have switched my shampoo to the first coconut based shampoo I've found. I brushed my hair the other day and couldn't believe my eyes! I had shine in my "straight" hair with no curls! While I know my new shampoo added a little shine, it would never have been as shiny as it is now if I hadn't used this towel! Apparently my hair spent a lot of time in this towel which somehow allowed my hair to regenerate. Seriously, I don't use a shampoo that revitalizes my hair or gets rid of frizz because years ago I spent a fortune on hair products to treat frizz to no avail. Yes when I first used this towel it gave me nice waves with minimal frizz but when I combed it which resulted in my hair being straightened I still had some flyaways although much better than without it Hand towel. but they were, at least that's what I noticed. Now "some overflights" are a thing of the past! Also, my waves also turn into very loose curls when I use a product (shampoo or leave-in conditioner) that enhances the curls. Although it's been a process of figuring out what's best for my hair, I'm finally happy with my hair! Curls, no curly and shiny?!?! I feel like I won the lottery! Finally, my sister, who naturally has loose curls, always blow-dried them, which only worked on very dry days. Any day that the humidity is above 50%, her curls are always trying to curl. Since she dried her hair straight, she told me that on humid days her frizz and curls get out of control. I knew it must be her curls trying to bounce. I always wanted her to work with her curls and not against them, but I knew she would laugh at me for such a ridiculous suggestion. When I discovered this towel and it worked so well for me, I had to get my sister one! Amazing results! She too has been using this towel for quite some time. Her curls are minimal (including minimal for wet days!) and her loose curls are pretty darn beautiful! They last all day and she has no frills because her hair does what it was born to do! This towel has given me such good results that I now believe the terry towels damaged my "thin strands" of blonde hair. Now I prefer wet hair to using a terry towel and damaging my hair. Also, I don't agree with some of the people who posted reviews that they think using a t-shirt for your hair is better than this towel. I believe what they say, but for me it's the other way around. As a last resort if I don't have this towel I will use a t-shirt if I have one. I just don't get the same results as with this towel. A towel is not enough to get to the laundry.
