This collar has no teeth and no impact protection. The receiver on the collar is also very thin so it doesn't stand out or get in the way. I bought these for use with multiple dogs and the product works for that, but there are some downsides to using a single remote that caused me to return them (separate remotes are needed for my purposes). To switch between collars, first flip a switch. This makes it difficult to respond to behavior immediately or to correct less predictable behavior (e.g. barking) at the same time. In addition, the keys are very sensitive. It's very easy to accidentally press a key and make a beep or vibration when you didn't intend to. This made it difficult to train multiple dogs on the same board as it was too easy to make a mistake. The collar is excellent for a single dog, but it didn't work for my purposes. The battery life is really good - lasts a couple of weeks and the collar doesn't bother my dogs.
