I bought this thing to walk around the door edge in the car. It's black and has a few chips and that will hide them. It's smaller than some other door trims I've used (back in the 90's) and looks very well installed. Unfortunately, he has a memory and wants to re-roll in the role that was sent to him. Put it in the sunlight, the glue will melt and it will peel off the door and curl up. The glue is just too soft and sticky and doesn't work in the heat. In the end I dropped it. I had to use mineral spirits to remove the glue residue. I really wanted this to work, but adhesive just isn't up to the task, at least not for use on a car door when the car is in the sun. I would not recommend that. Check out other products.
