Wanted to keep my pixie cat away from orchid leaves and recently a new velvet sofa. A few spritzes on the orchids helped but the leaves were sensitive to the oils in this one and are now stained. I'm glad they're intact, but keep that in mind if you're spraying this on or near houseplants. It only took me 2 applications and after 2 months the cat still hasn't played with the plants. As for the sofa, it's only been a few days, but the smell seems to stifle the cat's interest. I hope I don't have to use too much, I'm also not a fan of scents and don't know what long-term use will be like on velvet (ie will there be discoloration etc). All in all, while I'm happy, it's gotten a bit much and I think I can handle the sporadic use if the leprechaun comes up with any fun ideas again.
