Waist not high enough for me

They're not as tall as I was hoping and they pinched me unflatteringly - ladies you know where. I'm 5'6 with a long torso. Also, they aren't as grippy as I was hoping, but I won't be able to ride in them since I'll be returning them, so they might work just fine. The color is pleasant, the material is good, summer. I wish they fit.
