I place it on the hob, having previously covered it with a towel and a wooden cutting board under the hood. Doesn't smoke, doesn't splatter. It is washed well with a sponge (either in two passes, or in the cooling mode, a room between panels of wet paper napkins). The panels do not play. The cord is optimal in terms of placement on the stove. I will ate after a longer period of operation.
