Ground wire on trailer side and vehicle side is only about 16" long. The description speaks of a 25ft pin and a 4ft socket - just a 16" ground wire isn't mentioned anywhere. While this works for the car (female) side, it does not work for the trailer (male) side. All trailers I have ever wired must have at least 24 inches of cable coming from the trailer. The ground wire doesn't have to be as long as the other wires, but it would be nice to have at least 6-8 feet to work with. Just having a 16 inch ground wire is next to useless. I needed to get this wiring harness working today and didn't have time to return it so I screwed 4 feet of wire into the ground wire to get it to the trailer attachment point. The frame I have is otherwise good quality and color coded correctly - just needs a longer ground wire!
