I bought this because it was in stock and I needed something urgently. This is the lowest build quality of any stand I've ever bought and I've bought a lot of these. It's very, very light, which sounds like a good thing, but that only makes it more prone to falls. The fittings are cheap, the mechanics sloppy and soft. But the main problem is the non-standard mounting thread! Well, they're actually standard, just not the usual 5/8-27 threads found on most tripods and tripod adapters. It's a 3/8" bolt and is fine if you're in Europe or using a mic stand adapter designed to mount your camera. But for any other mic you're down. It comes with a standard plastic microphone clip. but no thread adapters. Just pay more and get something good. This one returns.
