This is a great portable ball pit! First I wanted a smaller, more durable one that wouldn't fold. We don't have much space, so I took this. It unfolds very easily and folds compactly. It includes instructions that will really help you figure out how to fold your backup. When you open it, it's pretty strong, but not harsh. I didn't notice any weird plastic smells, so that's a big plus. It depends on how many balls you need to fill. I want mine to be half full as my daughter is still quite young. In my photo, the bag holds 100 balls. So for half a filling you need about 600 balls. Hope that helps. This is such a fun and unique gift idea!
