These hangers are of very good quality. They seem very sturdy but not too heavy. The wood is beautifully finished; smooth, without corners and edges. The clips feel like they will last a long time. They have a plastic coating on the ends that hold up well without snagging on anything that might be brittle. These hangers are great for hanging heavy pants but are also great for delicate fabrics like underwear. I've even used them to hang up damp stuff like jeans that I didn't want to put in the dryer. The clamps are clamped tight enough not to even slip off. I love the fact that the clamps can be slid along the stem so you can position them any distance you want. I currently use one of mine to hold a bag that I stash my delicates in so they don't accidentally get caught in the rest of my underwear. The fact that the clips can be slid means I can position the clips close together so the top of the bag hangs down and opens up making the bag much easier to use. All in all these are very good hangers that I expect will be around for a very, very long time. I think fire is the only thing that can destroy them.
