I bought them to save money but they are so cheap I ended up buying better switches just to make sure what I'm using isn't burns or melts. I first used one for the backup camera on my truck. It took 3 switches to find one that actually worked (the blue one is actually white) and when the camera is on for more than a minute the switch literally feels hot. Imagine if someone left the device on!? Secondly I used one for a boat radio and about 5 minutes after turning it on it got pretty hot too so I took it off and fitted the switch panel. To be honest I can't think of a safe use for them. I burned myself :-/
