2010 Powerstroke mounts with slip joints and clamps. I was thrilled to purchase this DPF. Its outside diameter is about 1 inch larger, which greatly increases the flow area. And of course it's a great price for a brand I've bought other products from in the past. BUT it doesn't fit. The Ford downpipe that fits into the extension between the DPF and muffler has a factory OD of 3.450 inches. The outside diameter of this Dorman device ranged from 3.490 to 3.570 inches. That's an average of 0.080 inches more. To make matters worse, it has been increased from .040 to .120 inches. It's not possible to expand your female connection to fit a pipe, and even if you could, it's not sufficiently adjustable. It was impossible. Also, remember that when you place an order, even if it's from Dorman, it's being filled by the distributor. Please make sure this is not an OEM PartHouse before clicking Submit Order. If so, know that they will charge you a 20% restocking and shipping fee while they hold your return. If you're persistent enough for a month, you can get a full refund, but why should you? experience this madness. I reordered another, more expensive, aftermarket diesel particulate filter (BD) through Revain and when it arrived it was a 3,450 inch OD. Exactly the same as the original Ford DPF. If you're not ready to cut and weld, look elsewhere. And most importantly, don't buy from OEMPartHaus because sending this item back if it doesn't fit will be very frustrating.
